Very effective. Whoever came up with the idea for this should be congratulated. I think this should be implemented in every school/college here in England and in the US. It must be expensive to stage - but who can put a price on lives? Not to mention the costs involved in emergency service work, health care, etc. for future accidents avoided.

they did this at my school today. they only allowed juniors and seniors to watch. which i find unfair, because most of us freshman and sophomores are getting permits and licenses. i found a way to watch it. i was in gym. it was a very emotional! they do it every two years at my school. the funeral is tomorrow. ;(

I'm in charge of finding out what injuries to use or crash site scenario's. We don't want to use the same ones as 3 years ago. Is there any thing you can tell me for advice or what your school did that worked and really helped to get the point across? Anything would help. Thanks.

It's the government's fault though. If they had the balls, they could eliminate...or at least greatly reduce drunk driving. Introduce a new prohibition, and this time, when people break the law and create a black market for alcohol, bring down the iron hammer on them.
Execute anyone who is caught consuming alcohol. That's what needs to be done with drugs too. The punishment for being in possession of a controlled substance should be the gas chamber, not f'in probation.

Consuming alchol is legal, so I think you mean to increase the penalty for DD as well as not allowing the plea bargining that drops down a well, "murder" to a traffic violation. As the reaper selects a member of the student body every 15 minutes that person it taken away and has their face painted white to tell everyone that they are "dead". So for the rest of the school day that person cannot be spoke to.
Our school last year at Marina High did this last year and changed my life forevever it was very touching and serious but so real. However the next day someone died the next day,ironically.
