Glad SEGA is finally bringing THE Sonic the Hedgehog back. Sure he may look different,but he's older. The point is,SEGA is getting the old story back on track and the gameplay is back! I just hope they eventually bring back the old model. Like they have him in for the 2D games and the new model in for 3D.

@luckytrifle I don't. And I've been playing it since the start. I just want an entertaining Sonic. If it goes old style, new style, or even both is good for me. Honestly, they all stay in their own territory so a mix would interest me most at this moment. But I know a lot of people disagree. A lot agree, but you mostly only hear from those who disagree. ^^

@Axxidous I agree that the concepts are fine; I actually enjoyed all of them too. But I have noticed shoddy worksmanship on the 3D Sonics. The portable ones have been coming along fine, since they can't get by on production values alone. But the console games just need to have better gameplay... the cameras across the board, the lack of a radar in Shadow the Hedgehog, the allegedly monotonous gameplay of Black Knight and Riders (didn't play those). They'll never get their rep back *that* way.

@TriCon3 idk. I finally got to try Sonic Rush and found it kinda boring lol ^^; I don't see 3D or 2D as ANYTHING to do with it. In fact, to me it's the obstacle! If the obstacle isn't clever then the game is boring to me :P

As far as I can see, Sonic use to run, he still does. He use to jump, get rings, run in loops and spin in a ball and he still does. It's all the SAME! But sicne SA2 they got all cartoon and a slight bit cheesey, then fans overexaggerated like always
