brief history for all you dipshits out there, dota was created on the wcIII engine published by blizzard, then S2 games wanted to make a dota port since it was so popular and made hon, which is basically dota updated with better graphics, better game hosting, more options + a dozen rigged heroes, then creator made his own engine and created LoL as a side project, which is a simplified dota, so easy a chimp with downs could play, then valve decided to develop dota2 for icefrog, done.

1. Don't compare LoL and HoN and DoTA. LoL and HoN are completely different styles of the ARTS genre game. If anything HoN is closer to DoTA because they obviously mimicked DoTA. Even still they gameplay is different because you can't replicate DoTA unless you made it.

2. Eul's created DoTA a long ass time ago, Guinsoo developed it for a time being a ditched it for WoW. IceFrog is the main developer of DoTA and brought DoTA to where it has become now, therefore DoTA 2.

3. LoL/HoN comm. is shit.

Aside from that there are several smaller tournaments with prize pools ranging form 400 to 5k...so ya make sure u know what ur talking about before u say stupid shit

Trust me, I have all 3 games installed on my computer, and I never open HoN.

@dollzandpinz A lot of LoL's heroes aren't direct copies of Dota, LoL Champions have occasional abilities (Like Caitlyn's Ulti is the same as Sniper's, but her other moves aren't the same as Sniper's) that are the same as Dota's but the heroes themselves dont have the exact movesets, HoN however, copies them completely.

Who gives a shit anyway. The original dota team split and one now works at Riot on LoL, one with Valve on Dota 2, and one with Blizz on SCII and Blizzard DOTA.

@lotharsredemption not really. HoN at one point was looking to port DOTA 1 stuff to HON until they got wind of icefrog wanting to take his intellectual property to DOTA 2. So those guys also created their own characters with their own established LORE from their Savage games, which are also fun multiplayer games. Problem is though, their new characters aren't exactly ground breaking either with having generic vector stuns, burst damage or some form of nuke.

Ok this fight between LoL, HoN and DOTA is pretty stupid now. Ive never played DOTA so i cant say much about that other than Guinsoo created DotA:Allstars, and added things like Roshan and tons of new Heros. LoL is a more fun based game, its made for more relaxing and having fun but can also be VERY competitive. Whilst HoN is more competitive based. I play LoL and HoN and personally i find LoL better than HoN because im not really a Competitive player. Argument solved.
