I remember this race very well. McKay made an incorrect post race statement about Fly So Free and Charlsie Cantey rescued him. Sad to see Antley. This particular crop made no impact on the breeding industry. Didn't Gold's owners end up in a terrible legal battle? Best Pal went on to a long career, huh?.. even has a race named after him. Hansel blew them all away in Preakness and Belmont. Thanks BRIAN

Thank you for sharing this. He truly was one of the greats. The sport lost a legend yesterday. RIP. Maybe he & Antley are up in heaven thundering down the stretch together once again.
