i didn't see anything impressive about tom's soloing here. i play it as a looping artist, and HAVE played in front of dave matthews, and i ran circles around tom. BUT, as far as the grooves he comes up with and effects... love it!

yes DMB is prob. one of the biggest touring bands in the US. However, recently on 8/19/08the Saxaphone player, a founding member of the band, died after complications from an ATV accident.

DMB is always one of the 10 highest grossing tours of the year, every year. They have never NOT done a summer tour in the US, and occasionally go overseas. Despite the death of a founding member, the band will continue to tour. They are currently in the studio working on a new album, and have a new live album coming out next month from a show they did in July.

dude... give Tom some credit, the guy is amazing no matter what you say, I mean honestly. If you think he's talentless just go through and listen to him play and only him. He's amazing, awesome sound effects or not, Tom Morello is an AMAZING guitarist. don't bash the man for his talent. Plus in this video he's playing an ACOUSTIC dumbass, and you can't make the same sounds as you can with an electric... just listen to the guitar in this video and it's easy to see TM is talented. end of story.
