The movie portrayed Micky Ward as this underdog who was on the ropes all the time and Shea Neary as this merciless asshole, when neither is the truth. Both of these men have their own pasts and they both worked hard to get where they are. Seems unfair Hollywood will exploit someone's good name to get their crowd pleasers.
