  • As much as I like the CFTO signoff, I also really like what the priest said right before the signoff. Who cares for the caregivers? As I have a good friend in medical residency right now, this speaks loudly to me.

  • I miss these sign-offs now, they don't have them anymore.

  • I loathe cheesy arrangements of our national anthem.

  • Cool Sign-off. God Save the QUEEN. How about God save every one of his children!

  • They had the rights to Lillehammer in 1994, but CBC took them back in 1996. CTV has the rights to Vancouver in 2010 and London in 2012.

  • so CTV was canada's "olympic network" back in '92, i noticed...was this the last time they aired the summer games before CBC had the rights again?

  • I have no clue. I hope CBC has the rights again after london.

  • The reverend spoke WELL

  • @KOATV He was incumbent at All Saints Kingsway Anglican Church for some time. What show was that?

  • And here I thought CKCK was the only station that faded out the closing credits of a show early. (Actually they also used to do it with the OPENING credits of some syndie reruns like the Jeffersons, etc.)

  • CKND and MTN used to fade out early as well. MTN was very notorious for this...

  • I can't believe they still played the religious segments. CFTO was, (and is,) old school.

  • They were still playing "God save the Queen" in '92? I didn't know that.

  • They had God Save The Queen until about 1997-98
