in my opinion rosewood fretboards sound better for jazz since they produce a warmer darker tone

Merci. I'm a huge fan of Bickert; but in this particular take I was trying to channel Raney. (check out my other video "crazy" to hear my attempt at Bickert). I've only taken a few lessons, although I learn a lot from the people I've played with.

Well, the sound he is getting isn't the first thing you think of when you think "Tele." I tend to think trapeze tailpiece, hollow-body, you know. With my eyes closed I never would have guessed a Tele. But yeah, it obviously works. Very nice.

not bad, man - a bit too busy at times and when you

start new phrase it sometimes sound like first few

notes are sortta random - that you try to find a place

to start. Telecaster sounds OK - what do you play thru?

Sounds a bit like my Tele thru PodXt.
