It's not just fish that are dying, it's the livelihood of fishing industries. Tourism to the beaches will also go down because of this. Off shore drilling, or drilling at all, is not necessary when we have water, wind, geothermal and solar energy sources that are infinite, clean and cheap.

the most expensiv costs of operation a factory is the start up money you need you need to buy things like robots (unless you wana have all maual work) the prodution line equipment etc the workers are the 2nd most expensiv and last but not leat the indevivual car parts

In the early days of offshore drilling my father was the only known diver to survive a 'live-boating' accident. The practice had already been banned.

The law required the boat to shut down while the diver was under, bring him up and move the boat to the next section.  To save time (money) the motor was left running and the boat would move along with the diver.

This created the risk of the diver's line getting caught on the propeller shaft.

This is only one example of many situations.

When these fucker say they care about safety, they mean they care about doing the minimum it takes to keep operating.

The only reason there has ever been any safety off shore is because of regulations, and even with them, many were ignored.

If you don't have a workable disaster plan if something goes wrong, then it is NOT safe.
