Hello Clive, hello from the USA. I too take four injections a day. Sometimes more. I found out I was diabetic after a heart attack at age 42. They say you have the condition for years until you know. Best of luck to you.
I am disturbed at your comment Have you heard me say anything bad? Are you a professional critit who hjas no idea of diabetis?I am a chosen member of diabetes UK, have appeared on BBCtv and been on LBC radio, written muich on diabetes and songs etc.How dare you say I give diabetics a bad name.
@CRKEC1 i don't care who the hell u are.... i've had it since i was 9 nd u rlly are giving us a bad name!!!!!!! guys like you always think you know every thing about us when u have no clue so SHUT UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Go find a different thing to do cause you know nothin!!!!!
The same thing happened to me, I'm on 4 shots a day as well. Once before every meal & one long term shot at night that goes 24 hrs to help regulate. I went into Stanford Hospital for 7 days with a sugar of 465..now I can keep it at around 100 or so. They want to get me off the shots eventually & go to pills. Anyway, what an experience. Thanks so much for your post & hang in there!
Thank you for making this video, it helps other people realise that Diabetes should not stop you from doing the things you want to do.
I have been diabetic since I was nine, and it does get me down at times, but if you prove to yourself that you can take good care of the condition, and have belief in yourself, then things can only get better.
Once again, thank you for sharing your expirience. It really does help alot.
I am proud of Clive for not letting diabetes get him down. Never mind whether he's promoting his songs or not. I'm just glad he's continuing on with his work.
4 a day is rough. Diet is a lot of it, and one thing to try is a silicon compaound that will NOT interact with meds and increases efficiency 60% according to University studies.
look at alkavitahealth and you will see what can be done. Even if genetically predisposed, you will find a measure of relief.
change all your diet, eat a lot of green vegetables, none fats, none sugars, none carbohidrates(pasta, rice, wheats>cause they make you produce more insulin, and become more resistance)hidrated your self well, and be healthy.
This guy(Me) is not promoting my songs, at all. My point was/is to let people know about my own experience of my own experience of Diabetes, my diagnosis and my get up and go attitude - was glad I had/have it in Me to be able to and I pray others do to.(regarding your comment-I appreciate your opinion but its not a good attitude to take.
Has anyone besides me ever developed "stomach boobs", the scar tissue or whatever at the bottom of your torso? lol just wondering because most people have never seen them and freak when they see them
All this video has is some old guy and a bunch of static, there's no sound.

Maybe you should look into getting a pump. I'm new to one and it's been great. But not if you are type II
