I haven't heard this song in such a long time but always enjoyed the guitar work in it. Great playing, great sound, and the Squier Tele looks great as well. Were those the stock pickups?
Wow dude, u rock. I just bought a TELECASTER AFFINITY (SPECIAL EDITION) BUTTERSCOTCH BLONDE to replace my epiphone LP standard. Waiting for it (Internet command). Sounds great !!! Tks for sharing
Yep, they seem to have been a hit. They were still calling them "limited editions" when I bought mine, now it seems they are becoming plentiful, which is a good thing, since I'm toying with buying more and putting different pickups in em'.
This was with my old camera, I've been trying to fix the problem but half the problem is I have to use light correction as it's too dark where I'm at even with the lights on.
I had the same Squire Tele and for something like $170 it was a pretty surprising little guitar. The only problem I ever had with it was restringing it. You have to slide the strings through the back of the saddles and it was a little annoying. That was all. Great value.
Yeah, I'm thinking about making some vids on various bridges when I have time to do so...I'm actually considering taking the bridge off this one for that very reason, and putting a string through vintage-style Telecaster bridge in it's place.
I`m thinkin` about buying one of those butterscotch tele. from musician`s friend for $169.00 on sale. Do they have good action from the store or do you need to set them up yourself. Yours sounds great. You play it well. 5*****`s
I can't speak for all of them, but I know the store I bought this one at in early 07' does not set up ANY of their guitars before they go on the rack and it played perfectly from the get go.
Ya know what, and I dont care I have both,Teles Mex is my Fav,But my Affnity keeps up with my other guitars, Its the wood, Telecasters are sooo versitile,I had to have one for home not that i needed another 13 all together 12 Teles and one Kramer I got in the Early 80s payed 300.00 Now thay are 2 or three grand! All of my guitars but one is stock. I play in a tribute band, Called Dead Flowers ,Yes The Stones,Yes I do the Keith stuff and I love the Sound! I LOVE FENDERS. Period! Rock ON!!
hey i play a stratocaster and i just bought this same exact guitar and it seems like the neck on the telecaster is stronger or the strings are just too close because on bends it seems like everything is off. you think maybe the strat just has a bigger neck and im not used to it yet because im kind of disapointed
is it worth the money to get this? im just looking for a third electric guitar, but this time, i want it specialized in Blues, Jazz n Rock n Roll... should i get the squier telecaster for $100-600 or Fender Telecaster for $1000-6000?
spring for the AMERICAN made fender tele. it's tone is on it's own level compared to the squiers and the you can't beat the quality of it being american made. also, it's value is only gonna appreciate over time if you take good care of it.
Nice tone, ballsy with great definition. Nice work.
