  • ET the Extra Testicle. Phone home.

  • haha i thought the ET was a actual pop-up animation

  • LOL

  • Great Scots! I've been coming to YT for over 2 yrs. & until tonight, never thought to word search Sunland-Tujunga - my hood! That's up in the Seven Hills area of Tujunga - "The Rock!" - according to K-Earth101! Anyone who lives here knows why...lol. Patrick Swayze & Herve Villachez (Tattoo of Fantasy Island) both lived in Shadow Hills, a part of Sunland. Kevin Costner lived in nearby LaCanada for a while. Cute video...thanks! Brings back memories.

  • for anyone interested, go to Google Earth and in the search type in porter ridge park porter ranch ca. Once it zooms in take the little orange peg man and drag him onto Ormskirk ave so you can get the street view of the park. This is the park where the bike chase seen starts. Notice the playground caterpillar is still there.

  • @TryTheRedPill Where's Ormskirk ? I don't see it.

  • Great Job! That`s something I wanna do for sure. I`m from Brazil and a completely fan of ET and Steven Spielberg. This year I ran up Rocky Steps in Philly, next year i`ll do that!! Great Job, take a look at my video in Philly. Take care, Rodrigo ( Running Up the Rocky Steps - Rodrigo Perrini )

  • Here's something I forgot to mention also... I think credit is due to whoever scouted this house and neighborhood for the film. I've seen this movie dozens of times and every time I can't get over how well the filmmakers did at making the house, both interior and exterior seem so charming; in essence the quintessential family home! I think it's part of what made E.T. so great. Blade Runner (my favorite film) was released the same year, but it was depressing, whereas E.T. was a feel good movie

  • holy shit, it's changed! :)

  • Great video.

    George Vreeland Hill

  • Kind of a weird thing I noticed, little changed except bigger trees/shrubs. Same thing when I checked out Poltergeist house. The one big thing though is how many more cars are parked in the streets today... now I'm feeling old.

  • i just got chills thanks!!!!

  • does anyone live there now?

  • @irishoorah That's what I wondered... If someone does, who are they

  • @irishoorah yeah

  • lol, ET popped up<(^_^<)

  • What a beautiful place to live! Must be an expensive area though.

  • well, looks like it has changed quiet a bit. the 1982 version looks much more charming!

  • @sozialeisolation Right you are! The 1982 version is much more charming. I wasn't around in '82 though (I was born in '86), but I still remember bits and pieces from 1989! I remember that time being much, much different, in a good way. Truthfully, the world has lost something since the 80's, and to some extent, since the 90's as well. This isn't mere nostalgia though, the world will never quite be as grand as it was in the 80's in my opinion. It seemed like such a cool time to live in!

  • i wanna go ask if i can spend the night in the back yard.

  • LOVE E.T. Getting into the act, LOL!!

  • Sehr schönes Haus, hat vielleicht jemand einen Grundriß davon? Very nice House, who has a outline of this House?

  • Fab!

  • I was just there on March 16th, 2010. While the trees and landscaping had changed very much, you could still tell that you were in the exact neighborhood where E.T. was shot.

  • I went there in 1996. I wonder how many people have checked out this house!

  • yeah been there too. But I got into the garden as well

  • @DWINC how

  • @mjh34mjh34 just be very polite and discrete :)

  • @DWINC how did you get in there?

  • Thanks for posting. Very cool!

  • very cool

  • Thats a cool house, wouldn't mind living there.

  • Wow! I didn't know the Extra Testicle lived in 7 Hills. Looks like the vegetation grew in a bit. The mailbox should read E.T.

  • The current owners saved it from burning! The owner said, "My backyard looks like the surface of the moon."

  • Hope this place doesn't burn down

  • Must save ET House!!!

  • The CA fire is slowly climbing down the hill toward the E.T. house. Check out my videos for videos from the backyard of the ET home

  • Lol I've been there too this summer... finally aftter all those years... also ET was the first movie I ever watched in a movie theatre. :)

  • wow that women got to be rich to have that big house and support three children of here own.

  • @sideslide23 And she owned an Audi too lol.

  • I grew up on that block (hillhaven ave). I went up there and watched them film the quarantine scene. It was surreal not knowing it would go on to be such a classic.

  • I love it!!

  • Nice work. I would like to see where the Poltergeist house is, or the Honey I Shrunk the Kids house.

  • Awesome. I want to live there!

  • love the burbs!

  • Sweet neighborhood.

  • gut gemacht

  • lol....that was my old house.

  • I used to live in Sun Valley... Never knew it was there

  • looked a lot nicer back then

  • Lol advm i lived about 4 blocks from that house. lol.

  • i used to live a block away. its actually a pretty nice house compared to the other houses in tujunga

  • You are lucky to have lived close to the ET House. Movie reminds me of when I was a kid and would love to have lived next to this.

  • I live in the UK and i think these houses and the setting are just stunning

  • Southern California is full of these type houses.. Mostly in Simi Valley, Burbank, Valencia and other suburban towns...

  • San Diego...YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • loved the vid but could you believe living there..everytime you turn around someone is recording your home..

  • 7121 Lonzo Street,Tujunga,California

  • Muy Bueno!

  • google earth, Tujunga, than you'll see the street name

  • thanks! i found! it!

  • any one know the address?

  • great video. interesting to see some of the surrouding neighbourhood also. Id guess the E.T. house was built in 1979-1980.

  • whats the address ?

  • Wow! im guessin that these houses were built not long before filming? There is so much more trees now.

  • ive also seen the house!

my uncle lives in the area so i decited to visit the house.

  • how i get there?

  • I visited the E.T house too but I had to take a bus from downtown L.A. to Tujunga and then walk all the way up to the house. But is was worth it.

  • how i get there?

  • When I arrived at the bus stop in Tunjunga I had to walk about 30 minutes to reach the house. Use Google earth and search for Tujunga. The house is on a corner of Lonzo Sree.

  • Thats so cool
