lol i got a 2001 gt 4.6 v8 with flomasters and just went around my college campus wit a newer (prolly 2007) gt v8 wit x pipes no mufflers.. everyone's head was turning hahaha

@chevellenut1968 off course it does that's Flowmasters loudest and most agressive muffler yet! the magnapacks are to quiet magnaflow makes my mach sound like a bus!!!!!!!! LOL thats why i'm going to put Flowtech Warlocks in a few weeks!!!!!!!!

@429ma,you better look into this,and compare the flow ratio to magnapack,because,flowmaster,a­ll series sound the same, and of course like a rusted muffler with nails in it,and they RUST,and always will.Magnapacks last forever,there stainless steel and sound a hell of alot better than flowdisaster.,Hell even cherry bomb beats flowmaster in flow, Stacy David proved it right on Gear's TV,and flowmaster got it's ass kicked by a cherrybomb muffler and they are made in china, my neighbor hasem on a GT

@GMurphSC06GT u dumbass first off not all Flowmaster series sound the same i know cause i have three stangs and i have the 40s on one and the super 44s on the other and magnaflow on the third cause i bought it like that but i'm going to take of the magnaflow mufflers and put the flowtech warlocks on but let me tell u their is definently a differnce between the super 44s and the original 40s and magnaflow doesn't even come close to the sound that flowmaster makes!!!!!!

@429mas It depends on what sound you like. I have an S197 Gt and Flowmasters sound like asshole on those cars. Thats why I chose Bassani, lol.

@429mas Hell no, haha. I've had plenty experiences with Flowmaster and they sound great at low RPM's but as soon as it goes over 4 grand, shit storm. Both Bassani and Magnaflow flow much better, are made better, and sound a lot better. Just because 75% of Muscle car enthusiasts have Flowmaster doesn't mean it's the best. Like I said before, It's all personal preference but I'd choose anything over Flowmaster....except for Pypes.

quick hint though putting bigger gear ratios make the car eve louder with 3.73 or 4.10 big difference in accelaration compared to 3.55 and better fuel economy!!!!!

Good vid. I have flowmasters without cats and love the sound. However I heard one with magnaflows the other day and liked it a lot too. Side by side though I think I made the right choice.

oh they sound very good my uncles friend has an 03-04 gt and he has flowmasters and the sound is amazing a nice good rumble that makes it sound like all the rest im having a tough time figuring out which series it is though u think u could help me with that?

@vbaron220 best way i found to do it was crawl under the car and write down the part number on the muffler itself. then hit the internet trying to find the same number. thats how i figured out they were 44's.

@vbaron220 the 44's are the white one on the left and magnapacks on the black one. also the white one is a 4.6 and the black a 5.0

I owned the white one, it had stock headers, a catless(O/R) X-pipe and the Flowmaster's.
