I remember when I first started renting video games for the nintendo.

I saw a movie called "The Wizard". My adoption mom rented it for me.

Yes when I was a kid. I played video games all the time. NES (I remember who I use to play with haha), SNES, Sega Genesis, Playstation and Sega Saturn.

I like the Sega Saturn better because it was faster than the Playstation.

I grew up and evolved into something more sophisticated. The PERSONAL COMPUTER.

I admit it. I broke alot of controllers. I even think I broke a friends controller and bought him a new one. Anger = power of the ZEAL

We were playing one time. Or I was... and everyone was watching. Some Chyrsalid touched my HWP (heavy weapons platform or tank or RC tank). My tank disappeared. I was mad. Game was to awesome to me. I even named my guys people I knew. I was the first to die.

Just stupid stuff I remember.

Someone I know rented this game when I was a kid at a place called Total Entertainment. Someone he knew who was friends with his brother said something like "DUDE... YOU CAN PUT ALIENS IN YOUR BACK PACK" - Brent. Thats so gay. Until I actually played it and liked the style. Its RTS and I was too young at age to understand about micromanagement but picked up on it quick.

I admit it, favorite game in elementry school.

I use to play this alllllllllllllllll the time when I was in elementry school. I finally ordered it online and had it for myself. I always loved this game. MINT CONDITION

Yes I use to play the be-Jesus out of this of learning about stuff on how to do things on my own.

I was ahead of my time when I should be learning about forensics and talking to girls at recess and learning to "think outside the box" (they didnt want to do that but I did anyways).

Too busy learning about other... things.

Dont run this on Steam. It sucks. If you have Windows XP or know how to run it on Windows 7 with the discs do it.

For some reason, I thank the UK for making this game.

Something told me this is related to UK some how. Just like how Creative Assembly made the Total War games.

Im not for sure. Was it UN or NATO as X-COM? NATO is UN? NATO better not be UN.

I tried couple of times attacking with 4 jets using machinegun. Te result was massacre by laserfire. Ultimatively i managed to kill the alien-aircraft.

This game was WAY ahead of it's time.... Base management, R & D, Tactical squad command to name a few. This game had it all. Add the super cool and yet eerie MIDI music.... Oh! and the feel it gives you when you don't have the flying suit yet and you're in a Terror map against snakemen and those damned Chrysalis(especially when they start moving)...Real terror!

Only 4 fit on a screen but it's always best to have reserves ;)

Also anything plasma I automatically call cheesecake beams, I try to play modded versions that make it slightly fairer/a challenge because plasma beams just shred everything- even the heavy plasma should ideally be a niche weapon but instead it becomes standard issue loadout. That 200% crit chance when one shot hits really messes up both alien and human.

How did you get the music to be so loud? Did you pick Sound Blaster or Sound Blaster 16? For me, the music is really quiet though the regular sounds are okay.

@Robloxfan888 no, it gives you the option of starting the mission as soon as the first one gets there, if you say no that one will just start going back to base.

Using multiple ships like that is about the ONLY way to take down big UFOs before you get the late-game ships. 3-4 Interceptors firing with Plasma cannons at the same time are deadly!

Unfortunately, as you can see in the video, smaller UFOs tend to run when outnumbered most of the time and interceptors will have a hard time catching up to them.

You certainly can. I remember learning this from the strategy guide back in '94; it's one of the only wait to take down 'large' sized UFOs before you get the Plasma Cannon / Firestorm.

Well, I usually use several interceptors taking turns with cautious attacks for those.

You can use up to four interceptors actually!

Very handy when dealing with the alien's flying fortresses. The damage is spread evenly across all intercepting vessels.
