@awksedgreep the safety wires are attached to harnesses that allow them to be moved so they are not in the way of the flips. but yes it is a bit harder :)

I don't understand how a safety wire diminishes their ability? If someone died every time there was a mistake there would be no show. Being a great gymnast/performer doesn't mean you are eternally perfect and never make a mistake, it means you can do what other people only dream about and do it well.
