I agree with everyone else. Your guitar is out of tune, however it is still a very good cover. I know sometimes I get lazy and play my BC Rich out of tune just becuase I feel like playing, but it truly doesn't capture your true ability.

Ok I will set the record straight on whether or not he is looking at sheet music watch all of his videos and watch his head closely he hardly ever looks at the guitar which is the sign of a true professional you feel music you dont read it for the love of everything sacred.....he looks everywhere except where you think he would look and thats the camera

well.. he did say he plays this song by ear. I find this to be true because I have one version of the tabs and it's diffrent from what he plays. Also he is very expirienced because, he knows where the frets are. Hence the lack of "fret Looking" (To call it somthing). I actually tried to play guitar in the dark to get a better feeling of the fret location and it actually helped. It reduces the "fret looking". anyway he trully is very professional.

Hey man, playing in the dark is very good since it helps with bending tuning and developing feeling to play music. I recommend it. Turn the lights down and don't get mad if you fail the notes... you will eventually get it, that's my advice to all of you ppl. :)

Playing in the dark is indeed a good way to "memorize" the fretboard, but as a side note - you don't have to be "very experienced" to know where the frets are.

No.. but knowing where they are isn't enough.. cuz is like talking in another language, the correct way is to talk like it were natural to you, not speaking it in your native language and then translate it.. same goes for guitar, you have to find the frets by unconscious impulse.. and that is something you achieve only by practicing a lot. Like everything else related to guitar.. xD

Tragic Prince is THE #1 best track in the Castlevania series. All clock tower theme are some of the best tracks ever (except for the HoD one, but even that one is still very good) but this one just managed to overdo itself to new levels.

I played this song by ear too.... It's not really that hard if you know a little music theory, and basic shapes that you can put into practice. I have a vid of it on my channel, but the quality is nowhere near as good as this guys! He's remarkable!!

Awesome job bro!!! Excellent transcription man! Seriously you have a good ear. As wah pointed out there are a few mistakes but the majority of it is solid. The more you transcribe the better your ear gets. I did the tab at vgjam when i was 16 and i have alot of the same mistakes in that tab. (a lot of half step embellishments we missed) This has always been my favorite song from SotN. I'll have to see if I can find the live version I did in a band a few years back.
