  • Youtube "Savior Machine David Bowie".

That's my response to this video.

  • this story and the telling of it can sustain repeated viewings; its mysteries reward exploration.

  • I enjoyed this story immensely and the lessons it teaches. For me its purpose is to see the wonderful possibilities that lie hidden in the familiar ...and what we take for granted.

  • such salient ideas .... and well stated. much respect.

  • As the urban writer/activist Jane Jacobs once wrote: "Intricate minglings of different uses in cities are not a form of chaos. On the contrary, they represent a complex and highly developed form of order."

Nice video. I just watched it again.

  • Nice quote.. I was also thinking of the great Jane Jacobs when watching this. Her spirit lives on.

  • I agree ...I was really happy to see a focus on people and liveability to the more classic discussions of physical infrastructure. It reminds us that becoming a successful smart city is a complex and multidimensional undertaking.

    Very effective narration and illustrations.

  • I like how the critical human aspect of smart cities is mentioned here. This is an excellent video.

  • The capital of New Mexico is Santa Fe, not Albuquerque.

  • Encouraging, relaxing video told with amazing gentleness, calm sense of purpose.

  • Very nice story... simple, but with a powerful message and punch.

Our cities are increasingly moving from a collection of inanimate buildings to a living, technologically sophisticated entity.

    Everyone should watch this.

  • Any changes in the community (*not just cities) must include everyone inconclusively. People with disabilities and special access requirements must not be forgotten in anything that any community plans. Plan for a barrier free environment in community infrastructure design. Thank you!

  • very hopefull and inspiring..Nice work

  • Wonderful stuff. I like this approach to delivering a message through storytelling ... And it made me want to get involved in my hometown of Chicago, and have a "keen eye" about what's going on around me. Thanks for this great piece of work!

  • I personally thought it was completely worthless to most people, but I liked the voice! :D

No offense attended. just not targeted towards the general population of which I belong...

  • Really nice poetry in the words and pictures. Looking forward to part 2!
