Nice interview of both Amotts together, they are both awesome guitars, I believe they could play a damn wooden broom with horse hair & make it sound good. bolt on is the best choice when using a tremolo

Bolt-on does not mean it's cheap. Many of the top players in the world prefer bolt-on necks over set/neck-thru (satriani, vai, malmsteen, etc.) Its all about personal preference. Either way, Caparisons are supposedly some really high end instruments.

On that note, I'll have to say that I much prefer Chris' tone over Michael's, though that probably has just as much to do with the differences in their playing than their equipment.

They're Swedish, so it's only logical that it'd take a little longer for them to formulate sentences in english. That's probably why they speak a bit slowly. If you were talking to them in swedish I'm sure they'd come across as completely different people.

its a lot of personal preference. ive never been a fan of dean but thats because ive never played one that met my interests. ESP however ive played some great ESPs

i think half the reason people turn away from dean is their marketting of dimebag. the ML and the razorback are some of their biggest guitars. their V's and Explorer's arent bad thoguh, my friend swears by his dean explorer

Well it is...because it's made with the same parts as the ESP alexi, If you check the specifications the only technical difference is that the esp has gotoh tuners and the ltd has grovers. Theyre both made by the same company too.

Plus ive owned epiphones that piss all over low end gibsons, to get a good gibson you need a thick wallet.
