@hastyscorpion1 the broodlings that pop out will murder a few drones if the player isn't thinking about them, i'm gonna try this strat for sure, 6 broodlings is a little op for just 75+50 minerals and the additional exploration time at the base, this is like a three bird one stone strat.

Hey PsY, I made this youtube account just so I could write this comment lol.

I've ran into this a few times and the pathing on Xel'Naga caverns is even worse. I found out that you can manually take out the drones and switch them to the other side. Your drones were walking down and to the left, but you can manually remove them and take them over to the right side of the extractor, make them mine and they will keep that pathing.

workers always leave from the location they entered the extractor/refinery/assimilator­, so if you manually move them to the far side before gathering you can force them to path around the outside rather than having to do a dance around some mineral patches. it does take an extra drone to maximize gathering, so getting a second extractor is still a better option, but getting a couple seconds of decent gathering off the first one might be worth it depending on the situation.

It most likely isn't cost effective at all, but it is a distraction. Especially when it comes time to remove that chamber and they aren't completely ready for the broodlings. You could potentially create a timing attack alongside those broodlings to take down their first army.

I saw this evo chamber strategy a few days b4 this video and it was on a 2v2 map. How the evo chamber was positioned though, not only blocked my gas but blocked a mineral patch and made another mineral patch inefficient to mine out of. It was ridiculous, although im sure it would take a lot of luck to position an evo chamber in the path of mining drones.

So you know, the reason your drones took that long loop at the bottom is because your drones entered from the bottom. If you had taken your drones and positioned them above the geiser then entered it, you could have had only a slight delay.

One question, if u are playing a zvz and you got a zergling with speed, if that zergling with speed goes on the creep does it have a speed bonus or is it only on your creep it gets a bonus from that ?

Being able to build and gain bonuses as zerg on enemy creep is bad game design because it directly interferes with lore. Their lore. Sure, it can be argued balance wise whether or not it was a good choice, but creep is living, and can CHOOSE to allow enemy zerg to build on it, or whether not to give enemy units speed bonuses.

Hello, I play sc2 in Latin America and I'm a zerg player like you... well, when i play ZvZ I NEVER start with a 13 o 14 pool... I mean it's so so dangerous beacause of the early rushs, at the begining i did that a couple of times, but always I ate the 10 pool rush and ... gg.

So what i always do in a ZvZ is the 10 pool and the tricky gas to get 12/10, this way my 6 lings are in time to defend any early atack.

In this game did you declare "no rush" or you simply risk doing this opening?
