Harry Kim woke up on earth after a weird transporter accident on a shuttle and he was back in San Francisco on Earth! it turned out he had fallen though some kind of crack in space created by an alien vessel and that created an alternate timeline! they stole the shuttle to try to recreate the incident and restore the timeline! I remember them being on a space station but I didn't remember them saying what it was or if there was a wide shot 2 confirm ident
excellent , its great to see imagination and effort reap great results and make a great setting seem majestic . i hope someday fan artists get together and produce a star trek short without battles where you can sit in an imax theatre and go 'wow'

@msbae: You have 3 different hull types in ST:O. One of them is the one which looks like that.
For the registry number and the ships name: This is just a stock (generic) Galaxy class. Normally you cannot do what you see in the video. So the naming would be useless.
@msbae you cant actually fly around like this in game you can only see the ship out of an inside window on space dock, so the amount of detail there is is actually quite high cosnidering most of it is out of sight normally. (though I DO think it would be awesome if you COULD fly around inside like that...

In fact this abomination was the reason why Cryptic decided to include an item called "Exploration Cruiser Retrofit" in their C-Store which gave players access to a much better replica of the original Galaxy class starship model. You need to use the /demorecord feature in ST:O for that to work. After you have recorded let's say 1 minute in the ship requisition, you can play this recorded file with the sto client. Then you choose the free flight camera, and you can fly in the earth space dock or just do what I did: create a fantastic fly around. :)
