Chris Benoit definitely was one of the best wrestlers to ever lace up a pair of boots and get in that ring, always brought it 100% no matter what. it was concluded at his autopsy his brain was so damaged it resembled the brain of a 85 yr old alzheimers patient, also having a severe case of dementia due to so many concussions, brain damage and having dementia that bad causes severe behaviorial problems, so he cannot be at full blame for what happened, he should not be denied being in the HOF.
God! I can't believe the crowd is cheering for Banoit before the match even started! If that is not earning what he worked for and getting respect, I don't know what is. He won the crowd before the match began. He is a legend. That is some one WORTHY going into the Hall of Fame! Why are they dening him this?!
The last segment with J.R. and King...you can tell they received some emerging details about the true story of the tragedy during the commercial break. Their tone was so...different. Lawler's emotional plea seemed to come relatively out of nowhere, and he stressed attention to Daniel and Nancy.
Ross' compliments about Benoit shifted into strictly being a great wrestler, distancing himself away from the "family man" aspect we'd heard the three hours prior. It's still interesting to watch.
@CantBreakSteel I've been looking for this segment for a very, very long time, probably since about the day after it happened. I had quite a bit to drink that night, as the news of Benoit's death hit me pretty hard (he was my idol when I was 16). I recall kind of thinking what you described as it happened, and certainly was re-inforced the following day. You're spot on.
@CantBreakSteel The shows were three hours long? Plus is wasn't all Benoit's fault, he had a brain of an 89 year old but Vince still distants the WWE away from Benoit 98-99% of the time. We are ALL human beings breathing the life of Yahweh's (the REAL name for our heavenly father...see 2besaved.com) spirit, and our flesh bodies are NOT perfect. We are ALL subject to do what Benoit did. I don't think Vince has a true excuse for continually denying/blocking Benoit.

6:17 Right here, Kurt Angle would have gotten up, ran quickly to the corner where Benoit was, and executed an overhead throw.
