I love the playful returns to the theme. especially around 3:30 - 4:10 - almost absent minded feel to it (but look at her concentration!), followed by a frenetic return to insanity. Mozart rocks!
I know that the speed of this concerto is Allegro and Adagio at some points. It's obvious because this movement is called, "Rondeau Allegro" Otherwise, she played the concerto very well, the speed just needs to be slower.
last i checked the tempo marking on the theme was allegro (not vivace or presto or whatever she's taking it at).
At any rate, she has lots of years to learn how to read Italian. I'm ecstatic that she is so talented, but I hate when people speed the tempo up of concertos just to make them seem harder. In 2007 the Tchaikovsky competition winner played the thing incredibly slowly. You know it does change the difficulty...
Who knows her name in Korean? Why is there NO SEARCH RESULT about her in Internet, except these videos of some 12 years ago? What is she doing now and where is she? She should have 23 or 22 years old now.
This is recorded April, 2007 and there are other videos from 2006 or 2007. Since she is 11 now, I don't think any videos were produced some 12 year ago. :)
what a sad sad sad remark, and you don't even have the guts to say it in english. and it's also untrue, she's beautiful! anyway, her looks are not exactly the point of this video, you dimwit.
it's dutch. well, maybe it can't really count as dutch since non of the words are spelled correctly. apparently he thinks she's ugly and finds it necessary to say so. why do all morons of the world unite on the youtube comment pages?
To be this good, you cannot force a child to practice. This is all her: coming from her heart. Only she can achieve this greatness. No one can force it.
Music is cruel. A lot depends on whether you are born with musical talent. I don't think that means you should stop trying though - you can always go pop.
It's interesting how people who don't have a clue how talent manifests blame it on things like not being reincarnated from the right person.
The reality is so much more dry: it's a shitload of practise and the right and rare inspiration at young age to do it. The genetic predisposition for fine motor dexterity, math and memory certainly help the process.
This girl is a stunning performer, but don't mistake her for Mozart: he had already written his first symphony at 9.

sorry if you don't believe in reincarnation--
but i was thinking she might have been reincarnated from a musician - like Mozart possibly was.
idk; but I think she'll become one of the Greatest musicians in the world
