  • Just make sure your cat isn't in there before you begin rolling!!

  • @ChicBeanBlog ~ you're no fun. lol ^_^

  • This is a good litter box if your cat does not like to go in the corners (which ends up on the sides of the box). I have many cats and for some this is not a good option. Anything sticking to the sides has to be scraped/dug out which entails taking the box apart and washing and this is one of the harder boxes to clean since it is so big/the grill has to be washed. . This came in two sizes when I bought it and the larger one accommodates my 20 pounder.

  • @annamarie1863 you should try worlds best litter. it works great with this box

  • For those thinking about purchasing a OmegaPaw product.

Last week I posted the below questions to OmegaPaw youtube vid mNYx6MqWrGE (Poster thepamperedpets)

No response so I just tried re-posting the questions on OmegaPaw's vid page of the litter box.

Hit the submit button and got:

"You have been blocked by the owner of this video."

Sounds like OmegaPaw inc does not want anyone posting any "real" questions in regards to how the products hold-up /warranty issues.

  • @OmegaPaw

    On Amazon I read:

Latches are breaking (Need to be stronger)

    Leakage between sections

Q: Warranty?, if a part breaks, do you ship out replacements at nocharge?, Customer calls and you ship out the parts, OR does the customer have to PAY?

(EG: Deal with vendor purchased thru, and OR is required to ship back broken/defective parts?)

Website does not give warranty/ parts cost, only replacement parts for the litter boxes are available, to e-mail customer service.

  • Its a great product that saves a lot of time. To get the wet clumps into the tray, just tap on the botom part of the litter box when you are rolling it and the wet clumps go in the poo container. Of course, with any litter box, you are going to have to clean it every once a while (pretty much clean it each time you change the litter and you are set). Saves time every day and is easy to clean. Clean the grill and the bottom part of the litter every time you change litter, but not every night.

  • Would I have to get in there and scrub it to loosen it up? And also,? is there some special way to put in new clean litter in the box, besides the hole the cats enter in?

  • Just viewed this video yesterday and I'm thinking about purchasing one sometime soon. However, I've been reading a lot reviews about this Omega Paw litter box, but haven't seen anyone asking one question I'd? like to have the answer to. Besides collecting poop in the shovel, what happens to the rest of the smelly, yucky litter that are wet/ moist that usually sticks to the bottom?

  • I too had one of these and was stuck with poo on the grill that was impossible to clean i would take 30 mins trying to clean the grill bcuz i don't have access to a water hose i live in an apt. I gave this thing up after a couple of months...

  • I purchased the bigger one (they come in two sizes), and the only drawback is that sometimes pee clumps stick to the bottom. Somebody suggested coating the inside surfaces with auto wax/ polish to make it harder for clumps to stick. Other than that, it's a real sanity saver. My new cat is an indoor freak, so he goes potty all the time in his new litterbox, I'm not dreading cleaning after him anymore. I highly recommend it.

  • My cats would flip in a box that small. They are big cats, and they projectile pee through the back seam. Some are claustorphbic..

  • I've used one of these (as a catsitter). Works well on the whole, but you do sometimes get 1) small bits of poo that go through the grill and 2) pee clumps stuck to the bottom. So you do need to disasemble and fully clean it every now and again. On 2) maybe keeping the litter deeper would help... but that would make it heavier to roll and make it more likely to track out. It's good, but in the end if you are going to have a cat, you are going to have to deal with poo...

  • I just purchased one of these today. My cats haven't tried it yet, but I'm a little worried about the space in there for them to use the bathroom. The box itself is about the size of a typical covered box, but it has the scoop/ screen taking up approx 1/3 of the space in there. I'm looking forward to never scooping again, though.

  • pimp.
