Can you see the Rockies from that location? I've noticed that you can see them from just out of Pine Bluffs, WY just after you cross over the state line. Makes me wonder if the Rockies are visible from anywhere in Nebraska.
I cycled right up to this place in 1994, from the LOWEST point in the state at Rulo, on the Missouri river. Took me two weeks. I think I was the first Brit to do that.
We drove to Panorama Point in Sept 2007 and it was so worth it. Nebraska rocks, and Kimball was just about the friendliest and nicest town we ever visited.
while i love my home state, its sad our highest point is a small hill. Oh well, i love Nebraska
