I gonna try it this weekend, maybe buy. it. I think you need to get used to the zero gravity, just like in real life because there is no up and down. That's innovative gameplay engineering and I hope future games will have such good game design. Too bad there is no SP campaign, that would be so cool. Maybe for Shattered Horizon 2?

It really needs some time to get into the whole zero gravity concept, but after a few hours of playing it really kicks ass.

The suit helps you get a situational awareness, it simulates sound effects. If all you heard was your breathing you would get lost. You can run silent for stealth ops, But most choose to run hot but fly silent. It's a good game, However it's not ment for everyone. This game is a full 360..Top, bottom, left right, all mix into one. what YOU think is up, is someone else down. Unlike normal FPS were you are on level ground, or on structures, this is attacks from all sides. Expect it.

The splitting of the atom or nuclear fusion does not need oxygen to work and it is speculated would be more efficient in a vacuum. The sun or any star is a good example of nuclear activity that works very well in a vacuum. Of course you are right about sound. Sound requires air or some kind of gas so in space no-one can hear your rifle or the explosion for a nuclear weapon.

Not air. ATOMS. Vibrations need an atomic mass in order to move. We can hear it in air because iair's made up of atoms, but solid objects are made of atoms too. The rifle sounds in space are the vibrations of your gun going through the atomic mass of YOU.

Well I guess you could in theory hear a rifles noise through your suit if you were holding the rifle but there is no way sound will travel though the vacuum of space to reach your suit so that it could transfer the sound to you if you are not holding the rifle.

Yes, true, but the scientific explanation for this supposedly anomaly is that 'sound' vibrates through air particles and guess what? There are no air particles in space. Your space suit has a lift support system which gives off air, and possibly refreshments like water or snacks.

The bit which i don't get is when you turn off your space suit you can't hear anything.... because if you cant hear anything then you're technically sufficating from no air...???
