Hey guys! This works!

May you got some problems.

1. need to copy "gta.exe" to your desktop (It's most easy!).

2. Right Click on your "gta.exe" and choose "properties"

3. look for "Target" in the poped-up window and write C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe /c start "San Andreas" /low "C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\GTA San Andreas\gta_sa.exe"

4. After this, go to something like C:\Users\your username\Documents\GTA San Andreas User Files

5. then delete the .set file and play :)

CURE: I have tried everything, deleting gta.set files, document files all that, running as admin on xp, disabling windows event logger, and more, none of that worked.

BUT download and install the "No cd" crack and thats it, it runs did that today, runs perfectly no problems at all.

Just google "grand theft auto san andreas no cd crack", unrar, copy and paste that over the original GTA SA folder in program files, and your done.

Let me know if this works for you too.

Don't take the hardest why. Click the right mouse button on .exe file then click properties , Go to the compability tab , Check ''Run in compability mode'' the select the service pack what GTA SA supports.

Modding is only for San Andreas 1.0v you must downgrade it

and use GAMI ( Gta Mod Installer ) because if you install cars with San Andreas Mod installer ( SAMI ) for example and you want to install another car at the same place for a infernus for example you have to delete it or your game is damaged ^^

deleting the .set file only deletes your display sound and whole bunch of setting you define other than the default :P

When you make changes to the default settings,you can see a .set file comes up again.
