NU are such massive chokers. Cornell had a great comeback in this one. Hope to see you guys. But only if you manage to get back big bad Bemidji State :)
But not in a single game that really mattered. Its really a glass half full or glass half empty thing for NU. On one hand, they came away with not a single piece of tangible hardware. Lost their season opening tourney, their holiday tourney, lost the beanpot, the regular season title, the hockey east title, and didn't get a single NCAA win. But on the other hand, they had a breakout season that put NU back on the college hockey map. I think the latter is more important. Good luck next year
@Ryansmith312 Me too. Some of those are actually on youtube. I think Cronin overworked Thiessen that year. He played every single minute of every single that year. Still it was a great year!
Poor Brad Thiessen, he looked like he was going to throw up. But he had an amazing season that year. I should know. I saw it in person.

Not usually. I've seen a few games NU came back to tie it up such as one of the many BC.
