When I record my videos it is too bright you can only see some dark objects the rest is white.

what is this camera like up close to stuff, just wondering as iam stuck between thin n the zi6 n the zi6 has a macro feature...

also the audio sound much better on this one

As u know there is no macro mode...don;t expect good macro performance with this cam.

if u upload 60fps clip to youtube, it will be changed to 30 fps clip.

But I satisfied with sound qualitty..I am sure that Zx1 microphone is absolutley better than normal digital cameras.

I had the zi6 and it was pretty good about not skipping frames. Usually when skips, you might just need a faster sd card.

i cant believe they removed the macro mode on the zx1 though. I wanted to get the zi6 but they ran out of it.

i don;t recommend tele lens ,,,but macro lens is okay

How did you get the lens to stick to the front of the camera ? The camera's not built for it.

Very nice video, the Kodak did a great job! The audio was also very good. And the colors had a nice pop. For a 150 dollars for this camcorder is a steal.

How far can the zoom go, or is the near end of the video the max? Also, do you mean the original quality is better than the youtube version.. before, or after the HD feature is used?

Digital 2X is the MAX..the digital zoom qulity is not bad.

of course original raw file quality is better than this flash file.

I know it can take a video for two hours continuously.( with two eneloop AA batteries) the batterty life is really good if u use only rechareable battery.

I am using sandisk micro sd class2 sdhc 8gb.( with sd adaptor)

i have never seen frame drop.(even in 720p 60fps)..I recommend to buy sandisk sd...sandisk class 2 is faster than some class6 sd card

So the file gets "downgraded" when it goes to YouTube? That's interesting to know cuz it looks choppy when I watch it here. The 60FPS setting looks -very- impressive initially. I'd hate for it to only perform some of the time.

youtube encodes this to 30fps from 60fps

I just got one of these cameras. The quality is amazing!!! Make sure you press the HD button next to the full screen button to get a better idea on how it films.
