there was never a life star 3 i know because one of the nurses that was my dads friend was killed that day they only had 1 at the time

The other one LIFE STAR 2 is out of Hartford Hospital Hartford, CT.
They had 3 but LIFE STAR 3 crashed after striking a guide wire above the highway.

That is LIFE STAR 1 out of the Norwich CT base. This is one of two helicopters in the program.
