Somehow, when I play on Desmume, the game freezes after I beat Bowser Jr. Any tips?

You need version 0.95, it kept freezing for me too until I upgraded.

Word of warning, you're going to encounter the Icepeak glitch once you take the cannon there, so search for a save file in advance.

1. With Robotnik (NOT EGGMAN) and Bowser teaming up, you'd think there'd be a better plot than this. Still, it's only a sports game.

2. Snow Spirits make all the snow in the world? Yet another video game theory. At least they're more original than Stars of Chaos Emeralds. Yay.

How did you get the framerate to work so well on desmume? I need help because I can't even play Sonic Rush without framerate issues on the opening title and menu.

It's recording internally, so it's not really playing back at the rate it does whilst I'm physically playing it.

Try getting a newer version of desmume (0.95 is the latest I believe).

*Continued* Also perhaps it's best that Sonic is silent in this game I mean so many people complain he doesn't know how to shut up now a game comes where he is silent (well storylinewise at least) and people suddenly want him all chatty again. It confuses Me. Its also probably best Sonics silent because he has said very cheesey stuff in past games, even more when the game has a poor plot, and considering everybody's beef with the story here. well at least Sonic says nothing cheesy during plot.

Am I the only one who doesn't mind this plot here. Though that may be because I didn't have high expectations for an Adventure mode with a story in this type of game. I mean its a SPORTS game, I mean you can't expect something overly epic from a game with a story mode from a genre like that one so I just lowered My expectations. Sure, you can laugh at how over the top they treat the lack of snow, but the Adventure Mode in general is a nice change from the regular stories of Sonic and Mario.

More laid-back, if you will.

That would've seriously squashed the screen and reduced the quality, I'm afraid.

Technically you have seen the top screen, though. The races for example are on the top screen, and the town sections on the bottom. I crop each screen individually and edit when needed.

@Noj163 Its not a platformer but it's not exactly an RPG game either, you kind of need to play the Adventure Mode in order to find out how it exactly feels plus its still more of a sports game still only with specific tasks and stuff you have to do in order to progress, I don't know the adventure mode is kind of hard to put in any specific genre of course I'll just put it in sports game since thats basically what the game is.
