I learnt it by ear and with a lot of patience by practicing comparing again with the original and so on. Please, give a look to my cover of Shadoogie. It took me a lot of time, too.
@EricoMarcelo Ok, good to hear that. I'm using audacity and I reduced the speed 50% but still I keep listening the same passage over and over again to get it right :). I will check out "Shadoogie" and your other videos too.
But don't forget to add your own feel. It's the only way to sound natural, fresh and convinced. And also the best to grow in your performing. When you may cannot get the exact passage, try to propose an alternative made by you concerned with this style. This will add an extra fun.
