The size of the chamber is fine, perhaps a little too big. The ideal C:B ratio is about .8:1. I doubt that you are mixing the fuel very well without a fan though, considering how long the chamber is. A metered propane system and would also noticeably increase performance and reliability.

combustion chamber is too small, need more air/fuel ratio, more bang for ur buck.
