Personally, I think it's about losing communication with an acquaintance or loved one and suffering the consequences of it. I don't necessarily believe it only applies to people who have cut each other out of their lives. I think it applies to anyone who cannot properly convey their feelings/beliefs/thoughts and those who don't listen. For instance, my mother and father still "talk" but my dad doesn't listen worth sh*t, which has caused their marriage to essentially fall apart.

I have been listening to tool ever since they first came out and even when they split up because of the contract company disputes. Then most of the band formed "A Perfect Circle". Everyone that knows me knows that I always have been a big follower.Maynard James Keenan kept everyone going until the contract was up to where they can rejoin again. He is one lyrical genius and understands a lot of philosophies. "Awesome".
