In this show a werewolf curse really is a curse. Once a month you go through a horrific, painful, and uncontrollable transformation during which you kill anything and everything around you without exception. And you have huge anger issues that make you a dick to be around. Oh and vampires can kill you at will at any time other than the time period you are a wolf.

What happened to the bone snapping, skin stretching, muscle tearing, agonizing transformations coupled with the terrifying screams of bloody murder? Remember those? When they took the time and effort to show it all? And make it look good? You know... How it's supposed to look? Horrifying?!?! .... Fucking CG.

@TKDWPman Back in the old werewolf movie days, there WERE some special effects: the creators had to do alot of make-up for the actors to make the werewolf transformations come to life. Just like in the Michael Jackson "Thriller" music video, where Jackson transformed into a werecat. The werecat transformation was all make-up and special effects just like the werewolf transformations from movies like "The Howling" for example.

And they were great, probably because of the amount of effort that went into the make up, props, sound effects, and even the acting. It looked amazing. And I hate to be one of those cynical assholes that says, "There's just too much CG in modern Cinema." But... You know... There's just too much CG in modern Cinema. Lol But of course this transformation would suck balls even without CG. It's just... It's ass.
