I was born in Tehachapi. My dad's family lives there I think. Last name of Moter. I don't know if he's still alive or not, haven't seen him since I was about 10 years old. I do have some fond memories though... family and friends I remember.
Tehachapi - AWESOME place to grow up. A TERRIFIC place to retire. For the young adult age group - not as popular. I'm a local (since 1977) and my family has been here since the 1930's. Even back then I bet there were people 17-30yr's old who just hated the place. I'm happy to live here myself and my little one's are going to love it too! ;-)
I see a lot of sand canyon and rosemond... not so much a lot of Tehachapi... hey I'd kinda have to agree with austin. this place ain't all its cracked up to be.

I just use Windows Movie Maker and in video Transitions select "fade".
