I just noticed something: Sonic is crap weak if he doesn't have any form of a 'power ring'.

Mario can kill Sonic faster THEN the speed of light. Not to mention all the Sonic games suck. ESPECIALLY 'SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 2'!!! That game was friggin broken, you get to the SECOND final boss and you can't get hit ONCE!!

How much I like the character has nothing to do with it. The thing is is that the game had to be mostly relevant to the Mario series. If I had a choice I probably would have had neither of them lose, anyways.
