>:) im going to go search for K98s Thompsons Lugers revolvers and all that i live in Bastogne (close to it) where there were HUGE battles and not everything has been found
about 48 years ago we found a maxim machine gun outside the underground store on Dartford (the IMPERIAL WAR MUSEUM.)... Heath,Kent....we took it to the home of PHIL MARSHALL near Blackfen...I THINK HIS DAD FOUND IT AND SOLD IT....in his loft we found a .22 bolt action rifle ..i loaded it and fired a shot through his roof!!!...the old thieving b`stard.

that is actually a 30 caliber that was the earlier version from WW! but the army still used those in WW2 but then they made a new and improved 30 caliber that was air cooled that one is water cooled
Looks like a Spandau Machine Gun.. Slots on the heat guard mean it was air cooled and came from an Airplane.. Other versions had sealed tubes that were filled with water to keep it cool..
this is too cool, i can't truly imagine the hell that went on where these weapons were found. 80 years after the great war and 60 years after the second, the land still bears scars and reminders.
idiot read a book before you open your mouth that is a maxim clearly. look at the large cilinderical shape (watercooling jacket) and the boxshape(i forgot what thats to be called, the spot where the bullets enter, fire and the cases get ejected)
when my g-pa was young he lived in estonia during ww2 and he used to find dead soldiers and play with their guns and gernades but he stopped the day after another kid blew his arm off with an accidental pull of the string of a nazi's potato masher
Me and my cousin found a Maxim while I visited him in finnland, it was a rustbucket with lots of holes, and we turned it in to the war museum there near Karelen

I Never clean up or shower here. The dried shit flakes off my body and sometimes ill brush a bit out of my beard. My head is shaved so it just flakes off there too. Hell yes, I STINK. And my mouth smells like a sewer. Thats theway I like it! I may clear a few people out of a room when I walk in but I havent been thrown out of a Wallmart yet.
Yeah maxims are bad ass but in America a MG42 full auto is around $40,000 don't know what the maxim is worth...in semi auto that is about the value though 800 pounds is that about 1900 2000 dollars? Semi's go for around 2500 if they are german around 4 to 6000

pretty sure they can keep battlefield dug relics. I think it has to be deemed unfireable, or incapable to be made fireable first though.
