Im not downin tha lancer at all but iv cn tha vid ofa Pmag thats bn shot wita ak47 round an tha springs hangin haf outa tha gun an it stil shoots flawlessly!! Lets c tha Lancer bn shot wita ak round an stil shoot?!! Sorry juza big Pmag fan!
i like the C products steel mags that have magpul enhanced followers that are orange. they are only 13$. i havnt tried pmags. these mags look nice. I may get one if they are the right price.
The only thing I don't like about them is the extra ledge molded all the way around the magazine partway up that stops against the bottom of the magwell. When you store these in a double or triple mag pouch, this lip sticks out and they rub on each other making them sit uneven and catching on each other. I suspect if you grabbed the wrong clip out of the pouch in an emergency situation it could drag another one out with it and it would fall to the ground. That, or it wouldn't come out easily.
As for the mag in the well, with the bolt closed, AR mags are a very tight fit and take a hell of a push. Bolt open they snick right in with your pinky. That's normal.
yeah a common trick is to load it 2-5 rounds less than full. It allows the mag to catch with the bolt closed a little easier. I like to keep less rounds in anyway to make it easer on the mag.
When the one round falls out... he picks up something else also... then it appears as if he is purposely trying to hold it out of camera view... not trying to accuse you guys of anything... but what was that?
not only that, the clip seems to not stay in the mag well. could just be me but had trouble in the beginning and when he ejected it in the end it kind flew out as if it weren't in right
ar15's and m16s do not use clips. they use STANAG magazines which are enclosed detachable box magazines. A clip is used in the m1 garand called a enbloc clip. Or the sks which uses stripper clips. It did look like the mag eject really fast but that could be a good thing. Once you are empty you want that mag out as fast as it will go so you can get a fresh one in. they are supposed to fall out and drop free from the rfle.

Seems like most gun newbies say clip instead of mag or magazine.

@rp1809 They're not cheap, considering they're plastic. Think cheapest I've seen are about $25 or so

Magpul Pmags are still better, but these are pretty good.

thats why you shouldnt use the pouches that hold more than one mag for these, and similar mags ;)

He picked the pen off the floor. Lancers are awesome mags. Don't hesitate to buy them. I've dropped them quite a few times loaded and unloaded.
