Guess what, im a huge movie buff, i like to think ive seen pretty much all the best films, cult films, indie films, foriegn films and what have you....HOWEVER, ive never seen teh first 3 starwars films. Im aware ive not seen them and i know you could turn around and say "you cant be a movie buff if youve not seen starwars" however im saving them, i know their good, and i know i'll like them, and ill get to them when im really in the mood

@SamHain1031666 unfortunately it may be too late, unless you ebay the original vhs tapes, which i just did for 12 dollars. the originals uncut is the only way to go.

Ah... the good old days when radio 1 was a proper station with real people on it saying stuff that was worth listening too... just remember when things were put out on "video"... whatever they were?? ;)

I personally don't like or get the whole star wars thing, you've heard the phrase "the Lighthouse Family is music for people who don't really like music", well sw for me are films for people who really don't like films at all...

If you were a kid at the time, the Star Wars trilogy was fabulous. Along with Moonraker, the 2nd Star Wars got me into cinema after a few false starts with 2nd rate Disney films. I watch a lot of arthouse and classic cinema these days as a result of watching Hollywood extravaganzas as a child/teen. SW is to films what Enid Blyton is to books: a good entry level for kids to enjoy and grow out of. Just so long as you DO grow out of it.
