I adore the Sonic music, but it really is funny how you can pick up cues from popular music of the time that landed in the game, like the Labyrinth Zone music's similarity to "Emotions" by Mariah Carey.

It may not have been the composer's fault at all; more likely he was just writing to fit the perky pop zeitgeist of the time. Either way, this is one of the most memorable video game soundtracks ever made, and I'm glad it came along when and how it did.

The beat of both tracks fit amazingly! I... REALLY want this to work! There just seems to be too much contrast between the melody of the vocals/original track, which distracts from how awesome this song could be.

I REALLY loved it at around 2:09 where there was no background music conflicting with the Springyard track. It sounded natural!

My summary: GREAT attempt! I love what this potentially could be, but I'm going to like/favorite it anyway.

I would if I could, duh. Have you ever tried separating vocals from the rest of the music? I don't think so. But so far with my programs it can't be done. Therefore I must wait until a suitable program shows up that can complete such a task or actually find someone online who's got a studio rip or something.

I'm just saying, anyone can just take the two songs and put them together to post on youtube. The hard part is actually taking the vocals from the song and mixing it with Springyard.
