Does confidence really mean the percentage of confidence allocated to the question?
Because in my textbook, it tells us that the confidence interval tells us that simply 95% of the sample mean values will within the confidence interval in terms of the population mean.
There is no "trust" or "confidence" really invested, is there?
Hey- I want to express my gratitude for your excellent explanation of these statistics concepts. I find them very easy to understand. I took graduate stats class. I’m not sure i got those concepts beyond reasonable doubt.
