As a huge fan of the series, I have mixed feelings about this movie. My biggest concern is that I see more Ghost in the Shell than Cyborg 009. 003 even does the Motoko falling thing. They are both very different series, and part of what makes Cyborg so lovable for me is that dollop of 60's camp and comedy alongside the more tragic and profound bits. I fear that this won't transfer as well in a modernization. I'm going to watch it if it reaches the US regardless. I just have a few reservations.

I'm really hoping that the series won't be over-dramatized, & that it keeps some of it's quirkier, more comedic elements interspersed within its storyline. That's one of the reasons why I fell in love with Cyborg009. It had a serious story & sad strings of plot, but the characters were able to keep a level of humor going & formed a familial unit. I didn't see much of that in this trailer (actually 007 killing that guy was OOC/creepy for me), so I'm just hoping. Funny isn't Kenji's forte, though.

Well, if this series had made it to the US, I would understand the basis for it, but it seems to me like a dream team of elite soldiers who have extra ordinary abilities that aid them in their constant line of work. To be honest, it reminds me of comic book type avengers, while this is more towards japans own line of hero, which I am not familiar with. But even so, this seemed awkward, this trailer was not the best, and trailers usually mislead. Bet the movie will be good. =]

本当にすばらしいの一言です。

ジョーに憧れ、単純に「ジョーになりたかった」小学生時代。

（洋風な顔立ちなので）リアル髪型やビジュアルなんかを真似した­２０代前半〜中半。

そんな自分も気付けば３０代になりましたが、、ジョーは今でも１­番のヒーローです。

下手に実写映画化をすると批判の声が上がるでしょうし、こういう­実写のビジュアルに近い新解釈の「Re」は一番ファンにも待ち望­まれていたカタチかと思います。

章さんのコンクルーションの中編＆後編も気になりますが、真の０­０９イヤーである２０１２年にこのような素晴らしい映画が見れる­ということに感動しています。
