As a person who follows buddhist philosophy I am disappointed in the comments of many other followers of buddhism here. It is important to find union between spiritual belief systems and not throw abuse at each other. As a person who follows buddhist philosophy I am disappointed in the comments of many other followers of buddhism here. It is important to find union between spiritual belief systems and not throw abuse at each other. Islam is not a disease or virus, it is a religion held close to the hearts of over a billion people in this world. It is a precious jewel to these people just as buddhism is to many millions.

If he married eleven wives for sexual reasons, he should have had multiple wives during his youth. Contrary to this, history tells us that all his marriages with his remaining ten wives took place when he was between the age of 53 and 59 years.All his wives (ra) were between the age of 36 to 50 years.

Muhammad wanted his wife completely veiled to cover her beauty because of his pride. Siddhartha Guatama(the first buddha) freed himself of pride and suffering by letting go of attachments. Buddha did not create a religion. Buddhism is more of a way of thinking like Sanatan Dharma. Buddha was a saint. Mohammad was a thug. @Dambis0 The Prophet (pbuh) was allowed to keep all his previous wives because no one was allowed to marry the Prophet’s wives (ra) after they were divorced or widowed as they were ummul-momineen (mother of the believers). People falsely accuse the Prophet (pbuh) of being hypersexual (Maaz-Allah), because he had eleven wives. If you read the life history of the Prophet (pbuh), only two of his marriages one with Khadija (ra), and the other, with Ayesha (ra) were marriages in the normal course.

@Dambis0 complete the hadith. u've mentioned just half of it! This hadith is 731st from the book no. 59 Aisha's brother brought a Miswak n Muhammad wanted to brush his teeth with it. Miswak is a twig which is used for brushing by chewing at one end n making it soft so it becomes like bristles of a toothbrush at one side. since Muhammad was weak n ill in his death bed, Aisha did it for him so that he could brush. Later Aisha proudly said that her saliva mixed with Allah's messenger's saliva.

@Dambis0 No no no you've got the whole story wrong. When the Prophet PBUH was dying he was drifting in and out of consciousness, and he requested to lay in her lap as he was dying. The whole saliva thing was that Aisha was wetting his mouth with her saliva (not by kissing or any sexual act - the man was DYING) not out of lust but to hydrate him. Hope you have a better understanding of the story.
