The issues that Pakistan deals with today show not only the their govt's incompetence but the failure of the entire world in terms of humanity n worth of human lives.If one is blaming the former i must not get too carried away by not mentioning the latter.Pakistan's issues are more than just highlighted throughout the world passing nasty comments on the lives of ordinary people that whether they would survive or not forgetting that we all ourselves are not as innocent as we claim.

I preferred the journalist in the first part but in this one she keeps interrupting which is irritating honestly. At least let the guest finish before you pose the next question. I do admire the guest, his approach and the way he handled the questions. The journalist is very talented but should not interrupt. Well thats my personal opinion.

Militancy has been a character of the Pakistan establishment, prominently in Kashmir and over the last three decades in Afghanistan. The country has earned few friends and is helpless in fighting extremism as the end result is an unavoidable civil war, just like the events in the former East Pakistan.

A more realistic approach would be to wipe out extremists from top to bottom starting at the highest level rather than brainwashing and then butchering civilian population as scapegoats.

Afghans have been at the center of everything negative to have happened to Pakistan over the last 30 years.Ever since their influx into our cities,we have had high levels of crime,opium,hashih,Kalashnikov­s,murders&violence.Their men contribute nothing positive,& their women are beggars on the streets. In addition,they would have been slaughtered like halal meat by Soviets had we not taken them in.We took them in 3 million impoverised refugees,& justifiably kicked them out last year. THANK GOD!

I disagree. The questions asked were repeated when he did not fully address the issue. The questions differed on the angle of the subject. This is normal questioning of any good journalist. She never called him a liar or treated him with disrespect.

She was probing in her questions and his answers were good. But he is a diplomate and will always deflect answers to his own countries best interest. Thats why he has the job he has. She as a reporter will always probe and try to find a more diffinative amswer. Good journalism. She did not lead him to provide only positive answers that support his own position, which is what many closed countries do. You won't get the truth by giving politicians what they want to hear.

U can only probe to a certain extent! One should not keep on pressing the same question again & again! The interviewee might get frustrated & not give interviews next time. It is not good journalism when u become a nusisance to other like the lady above! She is acting retard!

I agree with ur statment on what politicians want to hear but there is a limit to it a good journalist should not cross that line! A jounalist is not an investigation officer!
