  • Ment to say free power is our God given right mking170@gmail.com

  • Loved the Videos very good info untill the last half of part three then auto goes bad.would love to do this my self I just need last part if u could send it to me or as much info as possible I would be very thankful....down with the power trippers and the money hungry God given right

  • Great stuff. Ill be using your videos to build a few for my self.

  • Great Review. Check out this review for more info.

  • best video i have saw on wind generators. thanks for all the info , i hope to be building me a few for my shop and home.

  • 1:20 a level laser come in hand for this part.

  • Layne... great job and thank you for sharing your knowledge and expertise to others. I look forward to seeing how your electric car project works out too!

  • Thanks very much. I came here looking for info on making a 12v wind generator but never did I think I would find such a informative and straight forward tutorial. And I even understood all of it. Many thanks.

  • Woow very very informative and clearly understood - - THANKS

  • @earth4energywind Very nice done. Have you tried using gears instead connecting the alternator directly to the blades? Gears could increase RPM. Is there a disadvantage of using gears? The wind turbines used in a wind-farm are using gears to increase the speed for the generator.

  • That's awesome, this is the ads-act information I was looking for. Thank you for sharing this wealth of information.

  • The gov. are crooks treating American like shit .They need to be reduced 90 percent

  • @TheLillyShei you are right, thats why my home is going to be running off of solar panels and 3 wind turbines i made!

  • Thanks, Wayne! I appreciate the accessibility of your system to laymen like me. Please keep the videos coming.

  • cool

  • Sehr schön. Nur bei uns im Schwarzwald muss unser Knecht das Rad für die Stromerzeugung antreiben.

  • Liked the video. Merry Christmas!

  • Hey man i am doing a science project for my school but how do you run the wires through the pipe without them twisting up when the windmill spins around and turns

  • thank you! nice video!!!

  • I dont get it! Ive done LOTS of research on these.Looking @ Pro modles & doit myself plans. SHOCKED @ the cost of professional modles! Crazy! If our governments truly wanted us to reduce our energy dependance or "save the planet", they should and very well "could" subsudize such things. Just a 15% reduction in Gas companies federal tax breaks, could offset the retail price on these by approximatly 60% for every home within the Canada, (not sure how the math wrks for USA).Are they just stupid?!!!

  • @vpbubbies The government is controlled by big business and the fed. Good comments mate.

  • Where is part one?

I see where someone said this was taken from Layne which is probably where I originally saw it, does anyone have a link to his youtube page?

  • I love the idea, but Im wondering just how much electricty this thing, (yours) actually makes, (On a good windy day), will it run ,, say,,,,, 5 lites?? 10 lites?? or 1 lite? Research tells me an average home uses 10KW per day. Would I require 300 turbines of your size to fully run my average home??

    Cheers, thnks for the feedback.

  • Home wind generators will help you to lower or eliminate your home electric bill. Home wind generators are a great way to save money by lowering your use of grid supplied energy.

  • @HomeWindTurbines7 well i see earth4energywind has stolen another video from layne. they stole mine also how to build a pma by jeffmolly1. without my permission .

  • @jeffmolly1 There are these spammers stealing video of home wind and posting their bogus wind generator plans all over. If they steal your stuff, report them and have them banned, it's called DMCA, look it up. They can't steal others work, it's illegal and against YouTube terms of service agreement. Report Them when they steal video or images like that.

  • will the alternator rectifier work for solar panels?

  • pretty good for a home made project. nice job.

  • Great work, Layne. Why do you get rid of the guts from the alternator? Is there something wrong with using an automobile alternator? The wrecking yard is full of new cars with good alternators. Do you have a follow up on the charge controller?

  • Which stator did you use from wind blue?

  • stfu cuntface

  • Great job! You run the complete "circuit" of what a builder might need/consider, unlike other videos that focus on one component. THX!

  • Very nice instructions. Thinking about trying it myself.

Robbie- the problem with not converting it to DC first is that is the batteries are DC and require a DC source to charge them. I am curious if you can use the original alternator guts and use a rectifier to convert to DC rather than pulling the power off the unit as DC...

  • Great job....i would love to know a few things.

1: What is the web site for the correct guts for the Alt..

2: Can you use the AC from the ALT without the regulator turning it to DC... Seems odd that the Alt creates AC the Reg turns to Dc and then you have a Inverter to get back to AC.

3: Do you have a video on a 3 or 4 blade unit.

4: Was that a beer in the Part 3 video next to the blade...LOL

    Great job......

  • Yesterday, I found a comment on a comment section that stated that there is no effecient green energy because it takes energy to refine the copper, all the way through the finished green energy generation product. I'm glad that you mentioned that you used the very generator that you built to power your shop, as well as using that power to produce another generator. Some people just don't understand such a concept of using energy to create energy to create energy to creat energy...

  • how long will those batteries last before they need to be replaced?

  • this taught me so much! THANKS!! im gon try building one using your tutorials next week

  • thanks..

    ill try your directions..

  • very nice vid. how long do those batteries give you power. b4 recharging? say for a small camper heater.

  • Hey Lane awesome video. It would be great if you could make a video with a parts list. Ya know what to buy. Like the alternator. What size ect. Maybe all the parts laid out while ya film them. I am very new to all this and I guess ya gotta talk alittle slow for me. lol Thanks you got fans out here buddie that was the best vids I have seen in a while.

    thanks for postin'

  • As an alternator connected directly to the car body and generates pvc current, if the RPM of the alternator are connected to as many low-RPM generator power.

Thank you and congratulations. very interesting.

    Monterrey, Mexico

  • That was great sir! I am planning to make on for my house..What would happen if there is no rectifier connected?

  • Amazing...
