when my first baby guppy was born i was gone to the store to buy a new male because he died and my sister was taking care of the female while i was at petsmart and she said: it was like she was shitting them out! i didn't find that amusing cause i figured out the female ate them al besides 2 of them and one of them was deformed D:

ok i have 2 red wag female platy and a male red wag platy and 2 male sunset platy and 2 female mickey mouse platy but for some reason the 2 female redwag platys arent getting pregnant and i had them for 3 months but the mickey mouse platy already gave birth one on may 22 to 11 but 3 died :( and my other mickey gave birth today to 16 but 1 died:( plzzz respond i dont no y it wont give birth

@5teady lucky babies, mine we're either eaten or sucked into the filter :< that's when i learned about the marble trick no pebbles just marbles at the bottom of your tank so when the fry fall out they safely fall into the marbles where the parents can't get them :D

cool my molly fish mate a lot so far we have 17 babies and now the female is pregnant again so there will be even more i also bought some platy fish and put them in a seperate tank to the mollys so maybe they will have babies too!

Its realy easy to tell the male's have a pointy swordlike bottom fin and the females have much rounder fuller fins

I came home to catch one of my female platies munching on a fry so quickly setup my fry net. She must have finished birthing as I could only see 2 and only managed to catch 1. Its about 0.8cm, I'm going to grow it a lot more before I let it back into the tank, bigger than bite-size anyway ;)

My molly is about ready to drop (I think) but I'm new and only have 1 floaty thing, which have 4 platy babies I rescued that didn't even know I had! I hope she makes it until morning so I can get her in her own little floaty thing!

hi my platy is pregnant and she is huge sshe still eats and she is still hyper but she is huge i put her in the breeder today in the morning and the male always follows her and now he is next to her in the breeder here is a video of her but i took this video about a week ago she is way bigger than that

Well, you have to have a group of fish with different sexes (you know some guys, some galls) and just jet them be... later, you come back and some of them have probably mated and one of the females should be fat.
