  • Love this song. But I'm diappointed that I can't find " Love Story". I call it the "you and me babe" song. My wife and I said it to each other all our married life. We heard Peggy sing it long time ago.

  • I think the abolute best instrumental version is the one of John Coltrane. And vocal version Peggy lee

  • Whats the best way to find mp3iiify to download this mp3? Someone told me to google mp3iiify.

  • @ceb2633

Miles couldn't sing, and that's what made his playing all the better

Miles said what no one else could through his horn, and his version of this song is WAY better than this one

  • I respect your opinion, ryan, and others, too. It is wonderful to have such a choice of so many great artists. C.

  • try to catch pinky winters version

  • Miles Davis version, beyond compare.

  • You may be right, eisentime, but the great Miles Davis cannot sing. C.

  • Her voice is just so soft and light, gentle and soothing. Like a feather, like a fragrant petal. Nothing like this performance of hers to ease our tired, stressed mind at night.

  • I agree, hello, you expressed it perfectly. C.

  • This is so good, Peggy Lee was one of the great ones! Thanks! :)

  • perfect!!

  • THE best female vocalist that existed. RIP Peggy . . . No one has ever come close to you. x

  • Thank you for your comment. She was a big part of my life. Everything she sang had a special meaning.

  • Love her singing Do right and...Halelujah I love him so -I sang that one in NYC

  • True, eugenesedita, But I think one can have a favorite singer just as one can have a favorite song. And not everyone can sing one's favorite song. C.

  • Favorite singer? Is that possible? Best for a particular song, maybe. But, no singer is the best for every song.

  • She's not my favorite singer, but her intimate, plaintive voice is perfect for this, my favorite Rodgers and Hart song.

  • This is just the most perfect song sung by one of the most perfect singers, Such a song of regret for lovers that have gone. Such memories.

  • This is lovely! nearly as good as The FolksThat Live On The Hill.and Don't Smoke In Bed.!

  • Thanks for reminding me of "Don't Smoke in Bed". That was one glorious song!

  • Wow!!
