There are easier false shuffles for preserving the top card, This preserves the top stock. You could have brought for aces or a royal flush to the top, then done this shuffle to keep them on top whilst your audience thinks the cards are really shuffled. It's a very useful move.

@tigerbravo1 I'm going to politely disagree with you there. It's not like he's doing an exposure video of an actual trick; this is just a sleight. If someone who wasn't interested in magic watched this, they wouldn't be able to pick up the sleight and say that they know how it's done, which, to me, is the whole problem with exposure vids.

In addition, the injog has been around way too long to be anyone's property anymore.
