I actually thought this WAS Juliana! ha I was like, "that bass player looks young to be with JH." ha That bass guitar sounds great, the snare sounds pretty good too, the solo had that *same* distortion! - but the bass drum was completely lost :( - other than that, I agree with everyone else, this was a great performance of a great song! JH has a plethora of great songs, this is one of my favorite, for sure! Shoulda uploaded the whole thing.
this is actually very, very good. you don't hear too many real juliana covers. usually it's just some a quick attempt by someone who doesn't really know how to play the song, so it's interesting. i recommend doing some others, like flannel says.
Doh! I'm VERY late in saying "Hey! Can I get some bass?" This is a good cover of a great song. The lyrics are actually a bit naughty...but its just like Jules to do that in her music. Heh...the small amount of French in the "Temptation Eyes" video basically says "f**k me, baby! f**k me, baby! f**k me, baby! OK?!"
