With minor pain after about 2 and a three fourths months would you guys say this is chronic. And isnt it normal to still have minor pains even after it has been treated for a while?
@Fanaticc that sounds like a boil (skin abscess) go to the doctor I think you can get some antibiotics for that hurry. Because I've read something about them turning black. Go to the doctor
@whiteboybeballin dude I still have the lump since April some pain but not really tell your dr. To give you ofloxacin or flomax... They cost a bit more but it's worth it.. Doxycycline might not work for you anymore your body is probably immune to it already..
@PuroSkaSka on top of the epididymitis i got a bad case of sinusitis which put bad pressure on my right eye and was really irritated so i went to a eye doctor for him to tell me my eye is perfectly fine went to a regular doc and he let he put me on cipro another antibiotic it cleared up my eye in a few days and hopefully it will help my epididymitis. what does the flomax and offloaxacin do? and im not even sure how this shit happened to me man im STD cleared

CIPROFLOXACIN worked for me. it's an antibiotic. avoid hot baths. pack with ice. i filled a small zip lock bag with ice. put that bag into another zip lock bag so it didn't leak. i cut a bandana into 4 pieces. and rapped the ice bag with a piece of the bandana. i then wore 2 pairs of underwear to keep the ice pack snug. you will have to change the pack 5 or more times a day. hope this helps.
I think i found the answer for Chronic Epididymtis. W A T E R F A S T I N G. Look it up. It will heal your body internally. My balls feel much better after a 2 day water fast. I gonna try a 5 day water fast next, which should heal my balls even more. I had this shit for over a year but i think this could get rid of it.

I was advised to take cipro, but didnt in the end, instead i was told to keep my foot on the pain, apparently if u take panadol everytime the pain arrives, then the body eventually cancels out the pain, worked for me great, I get the odd tingle down there but to be honest i really couldnt call it pain.

@Scottde420 dude just got to the doctor and he'll get you antibiotics. ive learned that there are things that can help reduce the pain by causing less stress to you down there, like the way you sleep or even the kind of underwear you use. after a while, and i mean a while, the pain starts to slowly and gradually disapear. now i only get it if i sit uncomfortably or my boxers get twisted up and and cause strain to my testes. so see the doc, and talk to him about it get answers and get better

My doctor asked if I was sexually active. I said no as my relationship with the mother of my children had ceased a year prior. He gave me medication which required that I avoid direct sunlight lest I suffer itching skin for life.

i got epididymitis and went to the er cause we thiught it was torision but we did ultrasound blood test and urine samples and it was all negative and the goave me 3ml of morphine and it didnt work i was pissed and couldnt remember my birthday so now im taking doxycycline and ibprofen and still pain and no reesulsts and its been a week worst part i still gotta go to school and im 13 i did not hav sex either i hav no idea how i got it but i did it HURRRRRRTSSSS :(

i got prescribed an antibacterial for it. hopefully it works. it does hurt man. it sucks

I have this right now.The first treatment did not work.I have to go back again to get more meds.I dont know why I got this.I know for a fact its not thru sex.Its just a nasty infection I got somehow.

this is what i have right now and just so you guys know. you havnt experienced the pain that i am going through right now. they gave me morphine at sick kids hospital. it still hurts right now.

i realized that epiditymitis symptoms remain during a loooooong time though perhaps the infection has gone. and even if you heal, soon you will be infected again cause epididymitis tend to return again and again...
my questions are ,1. "Chronic Epididimytis" means it will be forever? or just it took loong time till you feel better.
2.- masturbation makes me feel worse (much worse).. ¿is it bad to the complete heal? does masturbation delay the complete heal? thanks

la verdad es que la infección sigue ahí, aunque estos días apenas note los síntomas. No remite del todo, parece que sanas pero vuelve luego con fuerza porque no se va del todo (al menos así me ocurrió en mi caso y en los de foros que leí por internet). Empecé con un tratamiento el martes pasado porque la uróloga me dijo que aún tenía infección. pero me sentó mal el antibiótico y tengo que volver para que me lo cambie.ánimo y paciencia. tu novio se pondrá mejor =)

For the non bacterial type I cured myself with wheatgrass juice everyday for 9 months. It worked. Prior to that I had the condition for two and a half years.
